On-Site Inspections
The Spokane Regional Clean Air Agency conducts periodic inspections of registered businesses to verify compliance with existing regulations. The inspections also serve as a time when you can ask questions, request resource information, and learn about upcoming regulatory changes. In between inspections, if at anytime you have questions or concerns regarding your facility’s air quality requirements, please contact a Spokane Clean Air inspector.

Keeping accurate records
Keeping good records of product usage can save time when reporting throughput data to Spokane Clean Air. Since a portion of the registration fee is based on production, it is important that records be maintained showing the amount of raw materials used and annual production for your facility. Also, many other programs require record keeping. Be sure to ask the Spokane Clean Air inspector what records need to be kept for your facility.

Improving efficiencies can save money
In addition, if you implement measures that improve efficiencies and reduce the amounts of toxic substances used, your Spokane Clean Air registration fee will likely be reduced. Check out the resource information Spokane Clean Air has available to help you reduce air emissions and save money on your permit and/or registration fees.
