The visibility camera is located on the rooftop of the Spokane Regional Health District Building, located one block south of the County Courthouse. The image is updated every hour. The images captured at 9:00 a.m., 12:00 noon and 3:00 p.m. are archived. They can be reviewed using the navigation and search options above the image. The camera is pointing toward Mt. Spokane, which is 25 miles to the northeast. On a clear day, the mountain is visible in the middle portion of the photo.  Other reference points in the photo include:
The Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena, the silver sided building on the right of the picture, is at a distance of about .5 mile. The Spokane County Public Works Building, lower left of the picture, is one block north. Our view of Mt. Spokane is not as spectacular as the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency's view of Mt Rainer, but you are likely to see our mountain a little more often.
